Beginners Training
If you fancy trying your hand with a bow and arrow, sign up to our beginner's course. We provide all the equipment you need to learn, so there's no need to buy anything beforehand. Our highly experienced coaches will take you through all that you need to know to shoot safely, as well as accurately.
East Belfast Archery Club typically runs three Beginner's Courses throughout the year. They require six Thursday evening sessions (which last 1 1/2 hours) to be fully attended. At the end of the course, you will have become a Novice Archer and will be eligible for Archery NI/Archery GB membership which will allow you to become a member of any club in the country.
If, however, we are unable to provide you with a timely Beginners course, we will endever to let you know about any other clubs holding beginners courses to allow you to see if it is more suited to yourself.
Please note that the required minimum age is 10 years for our beginner's courses.
Courses are limited to 12 participants and course fees must be paid before commencing the course. If you are interested in joining one of our beginner's courses please contact us to be added to the waiting list.
